Oleksandr Usyk candidly shared that the thought of retiring has long ceased to seem unacceptable to him. Before the major fight with Daniel Dubois in London, he admitted that he increasingly thinks not about opponents but about family.
The athlete noted that his relatives are his top priority: two sons, daughters, and a wife. Training takes a lot of his strength and time away from the children.
Preparation for each fight takes half a year of life. Usyk tries to be close to his family, but that’s not enough. Therefore, the athlete is increasingly leaning towards finishing his career. Although he is not rushing into this decision, his priorities are changing.
On July 19, the fight between Usyk and Dubois will take place at 'Wembley'. This match could become the last chapter in the great story of the champion.
