In Odessa, 18 draftees attempting to leave Ukraine via the border with Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi were detained.

These men formed a group and found assistants, each of whom paid $5,000. They planned to flee to Moldova. The group gathered from various regions of Ukraine, including Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, and Odessa. The evasionists reached the meeting point on grain trailers and then waited for the right moment in a forest strip. A few days passed.
However, when attempting to cross the border, all the men were detained. Protocols were drawn up for them and they were sent to the territorial recruitment center.
