In the second qualifying round of the Conference League, 'Oleksandriya' suffered a crushing defeat against Belgrade's 'Partizan' with a score of 0:6 after two matches. Fans from Serbia insulted the Ukrainian team during the second game.
UEFA punished for chants in the stands
UEFA decided to fine 'Oleksandriya' 20 thousand euros for the racist behavior of fans during the first match (0:2). Delegates of the organization heard insults directed at Serbs.
It is reported that in case of repeated incidents within two years, the club risks being forced to close its stands.
Kirill Nesterenko's team has completed its European campaign, while 'Partizan' will play against 'Hibernian' from Scotland in the third round on August 7 and 14.
