In Ukraine, the amount of card transfers will be limited: NBU decision.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) will publish a decision on Thursday to limit card transfers of individuals (P2P, person-to-person) to 100,000 UAH per month. This was announced by the deputy head of the central bank, Dmytro Oliinyk.
"We removed the counter, there will only be the amount, and this amount will not include transfers to volunteers," he said in a comment to the "Interfax-Ukraine" agency.
The decision to limit P2P transfers will be published on Thursday, Oliinyk specified.
The deputy head of the NBU added that the introduction of restrictions on incoming transfers is not yet provided, but it will be considered in the future.
Regarding the introduction of restrictions on individual P2P card transfers, the head of the central bank, Andrii Pyshnyi, previously stated that the decision would be made during the current week in an interview with the publication "Economic Truth".
Recall that on May 23, the NBU announced the introduction of a limitation on individual P2P transfers in connection with the fight against money laundering during martial law. Initially, the National Bank planned a limit of 30 operations per month with a total amount limit of 100,000 UAH.
