The occupiers carried out a massive shelling of Ukraine on the night of July 12. A total of 623 enemy targets were launched, most of which were attack drones.
The Air Force of Ukraine's Armed Forces reported this and also noted that Ukraine was attacked by Russians that night. In particular:
- 597 attack UAVs of the Shahed type and various imitation drones;
- 26 cruise missiles of the X-101 type.
Currently, 319 enemy Shahed-type UAVs and 25 cruise missiles have been confirmed shot down, while another 258 imitation drones were lost in specific locations.
One missile impact and 20 attack UAVs were recorded in 5 locations, as well as the fall of shot down drones in 19 locations.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, reacted to this situation by stating that the country needs more air defense. A map of the approximate route of the missiles and drones launched on the night of July 12 has also been published.
