The number of people who can be included in Ukraine's mobilization reserve ranges from 3 to 5 million people aged 25 to 60 years.
This was reported by Lidiya Tkachenko, a senior researcher at the Institute of Demography and Social Research, on the "Kyiv 24" broadcast.
According to her, the number of the population living in the controlled territories of Ukraine is about 31 million people. Regarding the potential mobilization reserve, approximate estimates are provided here.
Different estimates are cited in various sources. There were several attempts (to calculate, – ed.). Non-governmental analytical centers made such calculations. Numbers ranging from 2-3 to 5 million people are mentioned. This is a count specifically of men aged 25 to 60 years," the demographer explained.
Let's recall, Syrsky announced serious changes in the mobilization and training of conscripts.
