Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovyi announced that teachers who lost their workload due to the restrictions of distance learning in Ukraine will be involved in other types of education and a personnel reserve with the preservation of their salaries.
"The order (No. 850 on the restriction of distance learning in schools - ed.) only regulates forms of education. Based on the modeling of this order, some teachers... will lose their workload. We will involve all of them in other forms of education. We will need to organize education for different categories. For example, for children abroad who need to be exclusively given a Ukrainian component," Lisovyi said.
The minister also noted that the ministry is preparing a reserve of teachers who will be involved in work in the de-occupied territories of Ukraine.
"We are interested in preserving all teachers. In particular, a personnel reserve of teachers has been created and a political decision has been made to preserve their salaries," said Lisovyi.
