In Ukraine, the urgent passport processing time has been reduced.

The administrative service for urgent processing of a Ukrainian citizen's passport is now provided in seven working days instead of ten. This was reported by Taras Melnychuk, the permanent representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada. Changes have also been made to the list of services, including the simultaneous issuance of a Ukrainian citizen's passport and a passport for traveling abroad. These services now cost depending on urgency. Changes in service costs at the divisions of the SE "Document" came into effect on October 7.

The new cost of the "Standard" service package is:

• Issuance of passport documents to Ukrainian citizens - 650 UAH;
• Issuance of migration-related documents to foreigners and stateless persons - 1250 UAH;
• Exchange of driver's license - 950 UAH;
• Exchange of vehicle registration certificate - 950 UAH;
• Affixing an apostille - 650 UAH.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also signed a memorandum with "Ukrposhta" for the delivery of foreign passports, and the Cabinet of Ministers has decided to continue the operation of the "Document" passport service for Ukrainians abroad.
