Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk finds himself in a difficult situation as the World Boxing Organization (WBO) demands he fight Joseph Parker, but investor Turki Al-Sheikh is unwilling to finance this bout.Usyk's team director, Serhiy Lapin, stated in an interview with World Boxing News that the decision regarding the fights is made by Al-Sheikh himself, as he is the organizer of events in Saudi Arabia. Lapin thanked him for organizing impressive bouts for Usyk against Tyson Fury and emphasized that the champion's team will act according to the circumstances and his wishes.So far, negotiations for the Usyk - Parker fight have not begun, as the Ukrainian is resting after his last bout. Al-Sheikh sees the next opponent as British prospect Moses Itauma, who may face Dillian Whyte. Additionally, Usyk is considering a potential bout with YouTuber Jake Paul in MMA.Usyk is in a challenging situation due to a conflict of interest between the WBO's requirements and the investor's desire not to finance certain fights. It is currently unclear what path the champion will choose in the near future.
