Vakarchuk responds to TCC raid after his concert in Kyiv.

The frontman of the band "Okean Elzy", singer Svyatoslav Vakarchuk expressed his opinion regarding the incident near the Sports Palace. After the concert, TCC employees and the police were checking documents from men. This was reported by TSN.

Vakarchuk did not directly comment on the TCC situation but thanked people who attend his concerts and support the band.

“Today is our birthday, I hope you are congratulating us too. We are very happy that so many people came and continue to come to support us, listen to our music. In general, it's a big celebration for us. These 30 years have been very important for us. We are very grateful to people for these 30 years. Including the fact that they continue to come to support us now. For us, it's just joy and celebration. That's all I want to say, my only comment. Period” - said the singer.

It should be noted that the band "Okean Elzy" still has four concerts scheduled at the Sports Palace. Announcements for ticket resale for the band's next concerts appeared on OLX after the TCC check.

Recall that on the evening of October 11, a concert by the "Okean Elzy" band took place at the Sports Palace in Kyiv. After the performance, they began to check military registration documents from those subject to military service.

Men who were unable to present military registration documents or those who refused to present them were detained and taken to the TCC. Others were issued summonses and released.

After the incident became a topic of discussion, Member of Parliament Mykyta Poturaiev stated that the document checks do not threaten Ukrainian culture. He even emphasized that such checks should be conducted continuously.

The Cabinet of Ministers has made changes to the order of conscription of citizens for military service during mobilization. It is now determined that the date for appearing upon the call of a reservist or conscript will be set not earlier than 14 days after a summons is sent. Arrival at the TCC must be within 7 days from the administrative center of the region, and from other localities - within 10 days.
