US Elections: Trump's Advantage over Harris Is Diminishing — Poll.
According to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll, the advantage of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump over his rival Kamala Harris on issues of economy and crime is diminishing among American voters. The results showed that 43% of voters support Trump's approach to the economy, while 40% approve of Harris's approach. However, the 3% difference is negligible, considering the poll's margin of error. On the issue of combating crime and corruption, both candidates have 40% support. This indicates a shift towards Harris, who was previously trailing Trump by 5%.
Nationwide polls also showed that Harris is gaining a slight advantage over Trump. It is still unknown how the decision of independent candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. to end his campaign and support Trump will impact the race. Both candidates lack broad popularity, but most voters have a negative attitude towards Trump.
