Euro 2026 Futsal Qualifiers: Ukraine secured sixth victory in a row.


The Ukrainian futsal team has completed its journey in the main round of the Euro 2026 qualifiers. The last match for the Ukrainians was in memory of those who died in terrorist attacks in Romania.
In the fifth match of the main round, Ukraine achieved an impressive victory over the Cyprus team with a score of 11:1. This result secured Ukraine's qualification for the final tournament of Euro 2026, which will take place in Latvia and Lithuania.
The last group match against Romania did not affect Ukraine's standing, but our boys still demonstrated a great performance. The meeting ended with a score of 3:1 in favor of Ukraine.
16 teams will participate in Euro 2026. In addition to Latvia and Lithuania, which will host the tournament, participation has already been guaranteed for Portugal, Slovenia, Poland, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Armenia, and Belarus. Four more teams will go through the playoffs, which will involve the best second-placed teams.
The main round of the Euro 2026 qualifiers will conclude in April, and the playoffs will take place in May and September.
