Power outages: how schedules will work on October 18.
On October 18, there will be no restrictions on electricity consumption, reports the press service of 'Ukrenergo'. However, it is recommended to use powerful electrical appliances from 10:00 to 16:00.
On October 17, no restrictions on electricity consumption are also planned.
The United Nations forecasts long-lasting power outages in Ukraine during the winter. However, the Ministry of Energy refutes this forecast and claims that there will be no issues with energy supply until the end of October and in November. They also hope that this winter will be almost without outages, similar to last year.
NAEC 'Energoatom' completed the repair of a power unit at the NPP 11 days ahead of schedule. Now all nine power units are ready for work in the autumn-winter period.
In addition, the European Commission, together with the G7 countries and other partners, has raised over $4 billion for the restoration of Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
