In the video published by the State Border Guard Service, you can see how the fighter released from Russian captivity communicates with his family. The defender, with tears in his eyes but a smile on his face, shares emotions with his loved ones, which truly touches the depths of the heart.
The exchange of prisoners between Ukraine and Russia took place on July 4. Most of those released had been in captivity since 2022. The exchange brought back wounded, seriously ill defenders under the age of 25, as well as representatives of various military units of Ukraine. An exchange also took place on June 26, during which even more servicemen returned home.
The release of fighters from captivity is always a joyful event for families and the entire country, as it confirms that our heroes do not remain without attention in the difficult conditions of war.
