Ukrainian actor Oleksiy Cherevatyanko revealed that in February 2024 Russian military settled in his apartment. Later, the eight-story building was completely bombed. He shared this information in an interview with Oboz.ua.

On the fourth day of the Russian invasion, they entered the town of Borodyanka, where my family lives. We were not there, the invasion caught us at the dacha in Procev near Kyiv, and then I took my family to Zakarpattia. Meanwhile, Russian soldiers settled in my apartment,” the actor noted.

In turn, Oleksiy Cherevatyanko mentioned that he received a call from the occupiers from his apartment: “They even called me. They understood from the photos they found that I am an actor, probably saw my number on my website. 'Good day,' they say, 'we are your fans, watched your movies and TV series. How are you there?' And I hear that the accent is very suspicious. And then they started telling details that no one knows, from which I understood: they are in my house... I asked, 'Are you in my apartment?' And there - they hung up,” he said.

The artist mentioned that a few days after the phone call, his house was completely bombed. He recounted that thanks to the neighbors, documents from the apartment were preserved.

A few days later, our house was completely bombed. Neighbors, true saints, took our documents out of the house on the first day of the invasion and then ran with them through basements, hiding from shelling. The housing has still not been restored. And for some reason, everyone is silent about it,” Oleksiy Cherevatyanko emphasized.

Recall that in March 2024, Ukrainian singer Melovin announced that a loved one of his died in a rocket attack on Odesa: 'Odesa. My heart can't take it. I lost another loved one,'”
