Ukrainians are facing new rules at the Polish border: what you need to know.
Ukrainians must consider that checks at the Polish border are mandatory according to the legislation. Declaring cash and other valuables, as well as informing about the purpose of the trip, are key aspects when crossing the border.
When leaving Ukraine, citizens must adhere to the rules for declaring foreign currency and bank metals, and have documentary evidence of the origin of funds. When entering Poland for the purpose of obtaining temporary protection, it is necessary to inform the border guards about this for legal residency in the country.
Refugees are also issued PESEL UKR, which grants access to social services in Poland. By complying with all requirements and regulations, Ukrainians can cross the border without any problems and enjoy the right to temporary protection.
Despite the restrictions and checks at the border, it is important to follow all requirements and rules for a safe and successful crossing between Ukraine and Poland.
