Traffic jams on the Odesa-Reni highway

On the morning of July 13, traffic jams occurred on the Odesa-Reni highway towards the border with Moldova, with the largest congestion observed near the Palanka border crossing.

According to the mapping web service Google Maps, traffic jams formed at the entrance and exit of the village of Mayaki and on the section within the Lower Dniester National Nature Park. The queue at the border crossing reached over 1 kilometer, leading to a slowdown in traffic.

Traffic jams in southern Odesa region

In the south of the region, along the M-15 highway, there are clusters of vehicles in the areas of Sarata, Zoria, Tatarbunar, Kyrynichok, and Safyan. However, these jams are not critical and do not significantly affect the speed of traffic. Currently, there are no queues at the ferry border crossing in Orlivka.

Currently, there are nine border crossing points functioning in the Odesa region, eight of which are on the border with Moldova:
