The Government of Ukraine is preparing to launch a new ticket sales system for international buses through a mobile application. Now passengers will be able to purchase tickets from verified official carriers.Deputy Minister for Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure Serhiy Derkach explained that this project aims to regulate the market for international bus transportation, while international partners supported the idea of stopping illegal ticket sales. The new service will work similarly to the 'Ukrzaliznytsia' app, but for buses. It is planned that the launch of the test version will take place in the autumn of 2025, and the full launch - in 2026. The application will be integrated with the site autobus.gov.ua, where passengers will only have access to legal routes, and carriers will be able to manage routes and ticket sales. There are also plans to add a feedback and complaint feature, which will be forwarded to 'Ukrtransbezpeka' for resolution. The register of international bus routes has been operating since 2024, and tickets for thousands of international routes can be purchased and schedules viewed through the portal.
