The Daily Billion-Dollar Toll of the U.S.-Iran Conflict.
The Economic Cost of the U.S.-Iran War
According to Novyny.live: The ongoing two-week war between the United States and Iran is inflicting severe economic damage on all involved parties. The multifaceted costs of combat operations and national defense are placing a heavy strain on the financial resources of the nations engaged in this confrontation.
Iran is spending between $30 million and $80 million per day to sustain its military efforts. In stark contrast, the United States is bearing a far greater burden, with daily expenditures reaching approximately $850 million. In just the first two days of the conflict, the U.S. military used over $5 billion worth of munitions. Israel's involvement is also costly, averaging $200 million per day, highlighting the conflict's serious financial impact.
Financial Burden on the United Arab Emirates
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is suffering significant financial losses, spending over $1 billion daily to defend against Iranian attacks. Within this total, the UAE has already expended about $1.8 billion to intercept ballistic missiles, as Iran launched 174 such missiles at its territory, of which 161 were successfully destroyed. Countering cruise missiles cost the UAE $36 million. The expense of combating drones is also substantial—the UAE spent around $644 million, whereas Iran spent a mere $24 million to manufacture the drones. This conflict is a stark reminder of the asymmetric costs of modern warfare, where defensive measures often far outstrip the price of the offensive weapons used.
Consequently, the war continues to burden the economies of all participants, with the UAE facing the heaviest toll as it is forced to allocate enormous sums to protect its territory. The economic repercussions of this conflict are likely to have a prolonged effect on regional stability and security.

These escalating costs may influence the domestic politics of the nations involved, as well as their international relations. The potential for further escalation threatens to complicate the regional situation even more, posing new challenges to international security.
