Additional Payments for Military Members in July 2026

According to Novyny.live: Under new regulations set by Cabinet Resolution No. 768, military members will begin receiving extra payments in July 2026. These include a monthly allowance and performance-based bonuses for combat achievements. The policy is designed to bolster financial support for service members and improve their overall compensation.

Who Qualifies for the Allowance

Those who have not previously received combat-related payments will now be eligible for an additional monthly reward of 10,000 hryvnias. The minimum monthly salary for military personnel will be raised to at least 30,000 hryvnias, marking a significant increase in the social baseline for those in service.

What Other Payments Are Included

The first disbursements under the updated system will cover the month of June 2026, with funds expected to arrive by July 20, 2026. Military members may receive:

  • between 20,000 and 40,000 hryvnias for participating in assault operations;
  • up to 50,000 hryvnias per month for serving at command posts for combat units.

Bonuses for Combat Achievements

A reward of 100,000 hryvnias will be given for each enemy soldier captured. Additionally, a 15,000 hryvnia bonus is available for eliminating an occupier in close combat, provided video evidence is submitted.

These new measures aim to enhance the financial well-being of military personnel and recognize their contributions to national defense.

The overhaul of the military payment system reflects a growing state focus on army welfare, especially amid ongoing active combat. By introducing these new bonuses and allowances, the government hopes to incentivize greater performance in military operations while underscoring the critical role service members play in safeguarding the nation.
