Abduction of Ukrainian Children: The OSCE PA Calls for the Use of All Punishment Tools.

The President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE, Pia Kauma, believes that the forced relocation of Ukrainian children and the illegal detention of civilians are gross violations of international law.
She calls for the use of all available diplomatic, political, and legal tools to ensure justice and hold the guilty accountable. Pia Kauma made this statement during an event in Vienna dedicated to the issue of the detention of Ukrainian children and women in Russian captivity, as reported by Ukrinform.
'The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly is unwavering in its support for Ukraine's sovereignty and, importantly, human rights. The forced relocation of Ukrainian children and the illegal detention of civilians are gross violations of international law. This cannot be ignored, and we must use all possible diplomatic, political, and legal tools to ensure justice and bring those responsible to account,' emphasized Kauma.
The OSCE PA President emphasized that a priority is the efforts to return children to their families and ensure the safe return of all those who have been unjustly abducted.
Pia Kauma added, 'As parliamentarians, we must speak about this, demand accountability, and support Ukraine's strength in the context of these crimes.'
