According to Vera Balabukh, a Ukrainian meteorologist, a warm winter is possible in Ukraine. She discusses this during an interview with the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. According to her, this is due to a powerful anticyclone in the Atlantic, which pushes warm air from the subtropics towards Ukraine. It is forecasted that the average temperature will be 1-2 degrees above normal, ranging from +5 to -5 degrees. However, there is a possibility of short-term Arctic invasions, leading to frosts for 2-3 days. Nonetheless, a generally mild winter with predominantly moderate temperatures is expected.
