All participants in the European cups from Ukraine have been determined: when our teams will start their battle.
The next season of European cups, 2025/2026, will start on June 17 with the draw for the first qualifying rounds of the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League. This information was released by the UAF through 'Glavkom'.
The team 'Shakhtar', the holder of the Ukrainian Cup, will represent Ukraine in the Europa League. The first matches are scheduled for July 10 and 17.
This season, four clubs will represent Ukraine in the European cups.
Ukraine's quota for the European season 2025/2026
Champions League
The champion of UPL, 'Dynamo', will start from the second qualifying round.
The draw will take place on June 18, matches - July 22/23 and 29/30.
Europa League
The holder of the Ukrainian Cup, 'Shakhtar', will start from the first qualifying round (or main).
The draw will take place on June 17 (August 29), matches - July 10 and 17 (1st round - September 24/25).
Conference League
The second UPL team, 'Oleksandriya', will start from the second qualifying round.
The draw is on June 18, matches - July 24 and 31.
The fourth UPL team, 'Polissia', will also start in the second qualifying round.
It should be noted that all three European cups this season will again have 36 participants each.
As reported, 'Shakhtar' defeated 'Dynamo' and won the Ukrainian Cup 2024/2025.
In the final of the Ukrainian Cup in football, 'Shakhtar' beat 'Dynamo' in a penalty shootout (6:5), where the decisive penalty was missed by Oleksandr Karavaev. The match ended in extra time without goals.
'Dynamo' defeated 'Bukovyna' 4:1 in the semifinals, turning the game around in the second half.
