The second finalist of the Club World Championship has been determined.
The successful match of 'Chelsea' and 'Palmeiras'
London's 'Chelsea' won against Brazilian 'Palmeiras' in the quarter-finals of the Club World Championship 2025 with a score of 2:1, reports 'Glavkom'.
At the beginning of the match, Cole Palmer scored, opening the score with the first shot from the center of the penalty area. After the break, 'Palmeiras' equalized with an impressive shot from Willian Estevan, and an own goal by the goalkeeper brought victory to the English club.
In the semi-finals, 'Chelsea' will play against another Brazilian club 'Fluminense', which defeated 'Al-Hilal' from Saudi Arabia. Two more quarter-final matches are scheduled for Saturday, July 5.
'Dynamo' will play against the winner of the pair 'Zalgiris' - 'Hamrun Spartans' in the second qualifying round of the Champions League. The first matches of this stage will take place in July, starting a new season for 'Dynamo'.
In the match between 'Chelsea' and 'Palmeiras', the English side won with a score of 2:1. In the semi-finals, 'Chelsea' will face 'Fluminense', while 'Dynamo' will go into the second qualifying round of the Champions League.Read also
