Authorities announced mandatory evacuation of all civilians from Kupyansk and adjacent communities.
Mandatory evacuation for residents of Kupyanshchyna due to worsening military situation
In the Kharkiv region, mandatory evacuation has been announced for all residents of four communities of Kupyanshchyna, including the city of Kupyansk. Forced evacuation of families with children is also announced from the Borivska community. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Synehubov.
Today, the Defense Council decided on the evacuation of the entire civilian population from some communities of the Kupyansk direction, particularly from the city of Kupyansk. This is due to the worsening military situation, because we cannot ensure the heating season, provide electricity, provide humanitarian aid there, because the enemy is shelling critical infrastructure, and restoration is currently impossible
Residents of Kindrashivska, Kurylivska, and Petropavlivska communities will also be evacuated. According to Synehubov, evacuation measures will be strengthened as people are reluctant to leave.
There are a number of decisions, in particular, crossings will operate only in one direction, only for evacuation
On the left bank of the Oskil in the Kupyansk district, about four thousand residents remain, from some settlements to the front line - only about four kilometers. Due to the increase in shelling in the Kupyansk district, authorities decided to strengthen evacuation measures. The official is asking people to move to safer regions, as they are promised support.
