The Naval Forces announced that the Russians have completely abandoned the repair of their military ships in the facilities in Crimea. According to spokesperson for the Ukrainian Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk, the occupiers are afraid of possible strikes from Ukraine.
'We have already proven in practice that it is no longer possible to use repair bases for the Russian Black Sea Fleet. To restore ships, they first need to bring them there, and right now no one will be doing that,' he noted during a telethon.
Pletenchuk reminded that Ukraine destroyed the small missile ship 'Cyclone' in Sevastopol Bay, struck twice at the submarine 'Rostov-on-Don', as well as struck the small missile ship 'Askold' in Kerch.
'These examples suggest to the Russians that using Crimea for ship repairs is not possible in principle,' the spokesperson emphasized.
