Vodafone, Kyivstar or lifecell: which mobile operator lost more customers after the price increase.
Ukrainians have become more attentive to mobile operators, among which there is one that lost more customers after the tariff increase. This was reported by the National Commission for State Regulation of Communications and Informatization on its website.
A particularly popular service in Ukraine is the porting of mobile numbers. According to data for 2024, the number of ported numbers has increased to 340.63 thousand. This is 2.3 times more than last year. Many 'Kyivstar' subscribers switched to the lifecell operator.
The most numbers, namely 207.1 thousand, switched from 'Kyivstar'. This accounts for 60% of the total number of switches. In second place is 'Vodafone Ukraine' with 109.53 thousand ported numbers or 32%. The smallest number of subscribers switched from lifecell - 22.88 thousand or 6.7% of the total number of switches.
In 2024, the most popular among subscribers became the lifecell operator, which gained about 270 thousand subscribers or 79% of the total number of switches. In second place is Vodafone Ukraine with 54.11 thousand ported numbers or 16%. Kyivstar received the least number of switches - 16.16 thousand subscribers or 4.7% of the total.
It is also worth noting that Kyivstar, Vodafone, and Lifecell have launched special tariffs for pensioners and students.
