Drivers granted the right to choose: The Ministry of Internal Affairs changes some rules.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine will introduce a number of progressive changes to the system of administrative services for vehicle owners. The press service of the Main Service Center of the Ministry reported this.
One of the main innovations will be the ability to choose a postal operator for the delivery of important documents. Now citizens will have the right to choose any postal provider instead of 'Ukrposhta'. This service will be paid, but will provide more flexibility and convenience for consumers.
There will also be a change regarding the temporary removal of vehicles from registration. Vehicle owners will have the opportunity to suspend the registration of vehicles that are temporarily not in use. This is particularly relevant for owners of seasonal vehicles, as they will be able to arrange compulsory civil liability insurance policies for a period of 15 days to five months.
Drivers must carry not only a driver's license but also a valid insurance policy. Failure to comply with this requirement will have administrative consequences and associated fines.
With the aim of digitalization and modernization of administrative services, the Ministry will implement these changes. 'Our goal is to create the most convenient and transparent system of communication between citizens and government agencies', said the ministry spokesman.
Experts positively assess the innovations, as they will contribute to increased discipline on the roads, simplification of bureaucratic procedures, and an increase in driver responsibility.
The new rules will come into force within the next six months after the publication of the relevant decree, which is expected soon.
Earlier, it was shown where it is categorically prohibited to stop vehicles.
