The enemy has increased the number of shellings on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv direction.

In the Operational-Tactical Group of Forces "Kharkiv" it was reported that in recent days the number of assaults has decreased, but the number of shellings on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has increased. This was reported by the spokesman of OTG "Kharkiv" Vitaliy Sarantsev.

According to him, the operational situation in the Kharkiv direction remains stable - defense forces are attacking the enemy, who is trying to hold previously captured positions or improve their tactical position.

"Here it should be noted that the enemy has decreased the number of assault offensive actions, but has increased the number of shellings of our positions. For example, the absolute record was the number of shellings on Sunday, which was 513," Sarantsev said.

The spokesman of OTG "Kharkiv" believes that this indicates that the enemy has exhausted their offensive potential and is now trying to inflict damage on Ukrainian military personnel with firepower.

It is also worth noting that Russian military rotate and replenish their ranks from the reserve, transferring units to the Kharkiv region from other directions.
