A Wolf Supermoon Shone Over Ukraine: When is the Next Unique Phenomenon.
According to ТСН: On the night of January 4, 2026, humanity witnessed a unique phenomenon: an exceptionally bright Supermoon, known as the Wolf Moon.
This name originated in ancient times and is associated with the indigenous peoples of America and early European settlers. During the winter months, when the nights are the longest and the frosts the strongest, the hungry howling of wolves was the loudest. Thus, the satellite that illuminates these cold nights received this name.
Upcoming Full Moons
After the Wolf Moon, the Snow Moon will occur on February 1. We'll welcome spring with the Worm Moon on March 3 and the Pink Moon on April 1.
Thus, observing the lunar phases combines the beauty of nature with the cultural heritage we have received from previous generations. The upcoming full moons are also expected to be no less impressive, so it is worth keeping an eye on the changes in the sky and enjoying the beauty of our satellite.
