Spanish football teams suffered defeats this season in European tournaments. In the final of the Conference League, 'Betis' lost to 'Chelsea' with a score of 1:4, becoming the second Spanish team to lose in a final this season.
This year, no Spanish club managed to reach the finals of the Champions League, Europa League, or Conference League. The last time Spain went without a win in European cups was in 2019. 'Real Madrid' won the Champions League in 2022 and 2024, 'Sevilla' won the Europa League in 2020 and 2023, and 'Villarreal' in 2021.
In the final of the Conference League, 'Betis' took the lead, but 'Chelsea' confidently emerged victorious with a score of 4:1.
The club 'Chelsea' became the first team in history to win all five major European cups in the 2024/2025 season: Champions League, Europa League, UEFA Super Cup, Cup Winners' Cup, and Conference League. 'PSG' with Luis Enrique and 'Inter' also reached the final of the Champions League this season.
