Spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces Vladislav Voloshin noted that
Russia wants to recruit thousands of contractors in the occupied territories. This primarily concerns the so-called 'Southern Military District' of the Russian Federation, in particular the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Crimea, and the city of Sevastopol, as well as parts of the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
This information indicates the continuation of the conflict in Ukraine and the intensification of the Russian military campaign in the occupied territories. Against the backdrop of Russian combat losses, the Ukrainian army continues to take active actions, which may affect the further development of the situation in the region and the strategies of both sides.
