The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated the losses of Russian occupiers as of the morning of Wednesday, October 23, 2024.
Russian Losses in the War as of October 23, 2024
The Russian Federation in the war with Ukraine as of October 23 has lost:
- personnel ‒ about 683,040 (+1,460) people,
- tanks ‒ 9,088 (+9) units,
- armored combat vehicles ‒ 18,229 (+30) units,
- artillery systems ‒ 19,674 (+51) units,
- MLRS ‒ 1,234 (+0) units,
- air defense assets ‒ 981 (+0) units,
- aircraft ‒ 369 (+0) units,
- helicopters ‒ 329 (+0) units,
- UAVs operational-tactical level ‒ 17,489 (+85),
- cruise missiles ‒ 2,625 (+0),
- ships/boats ‒ 28 (+0) units,
- submarines ‒ 1 (+0) unit,
- vehicles and fuel tanks ‒ 27,217 (+106) units,
- special equipment ‒ 3,509 (+10).
Occupant Fleet Activity as of October 23:
- In the Black Sea, one enemy ship, missile carriers "Kalibr" are absent;
- there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov;
- in the Mediterranean Sea, three enemy ships that are carriers of "Kalibr" cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 28 missiles.
During the day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the passage through the Kerch Strait was made by:
- to the Black Sea ‒ one vessel, it did not continue moving towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov ‒ two vessels, one of which was moving from the Bosphorus Strait.
Currently, it is the 973rd day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
