Women's Rugby World Cup: Where to Watch Matches in Ukraine.
The Women's Rugby World Cup is being hosted by England and the BBC is providing full live coverage of the tournament. The Red Roses will be aiming to secure victory on home soil, replicating their success from over a decade ago.
According to The Sun: England clinched the World Cup title in 2014 by defeating Canada in the final held in Paris. However, they fell short in the following two tournaments, finishing as runner-up to New Zealand in both 2017 and 2021.
Despite their recent setbacks, England enters the competition with confidence, having remained undefeated in 27 matches and winning the Women’s Guinness Six Nations Grand Slam four times out of four since their last World Cup defeat.
Women’s Rugby World Cup Schedule
The tournament kicks off with England facing the USA at the Stadium of Light on August 22. Group stage matches will continue until September 7, with Quarter-Finals set for September 13-14 in Bristol and Semi-Finals on September 19-20 at the same venue. The final and bronze final will take place at the Allianz Stadium in Twickenham on September 27.
Presenters and Commentators for the World Cup
Gabby Logan and Ugo Monye will lead the BBC’s presenting team for the event, providing coverage from various venues in England. Sara Orchard, Andrew Cotter, and Claire Thomas will head the commentary team, while Sonja McLaughlan, Sarra Elgan, and Elma Smit will report pitch-side.
- All 32 matches will be available for viewing on BBC iPlayer, the BBC Sport website, and the BBC Sport app. Select games, featuring the home nations, will also be aired on BBC One or BBC Two.
