Transfer Talks Regarding Simons to Premier League

According to The Sun: Information has emerged that Xavi Simons has arrived in London to discuss a possible transfer to the Premier League, as Tottenham shows interest in signing him.

His club, RB Leipzig, informed the German publication Bild that the Dutchman was 'released until further notice for future negotiations.'

Xavi Simons is being tipped for a move to the Premier League – but where is still not clear Rex

Chelsea has been interested in the 22-year-old player all summer, but the delay in his transfer to Stamford Bridge has opened up the opportunity for a late signing by the 'Spurs.'

Thomas Frank aims to strengthen his team, especially after losing James Maddison for an extended period due to a severe knee injury.

They attempted to sign Morgan Gibbs-White but he remained at Nottingham Forest, and also tried to acquire Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace, but he moved to Arsenal.

Now Tottenham's focus has shifted to former Paris Saint-Germain player, Simons, who has been allowed to miss training with Leipzig in hopes of completing a deal with the English club.

Leipzig is willing to sell the 22-year-old star player but wants around £60 million for his signing.

There are reports that he may demand a salary of around £200,000 per week.

Leipzig may also consider acquiring Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott if they sell Simons.

This summer, Tottenham signed Mohammed Kudus and Matheus Tela to strengthen their attacking lines.

However, the team lost long-term captain Son Heung-min and playmaker James Maddison, complicating the situation. This has forced Frank to seek reinforcements, as Tottenham aims to perform successfully in the Champions League and domestic competitions this season.

The situation surrounding Simons' transfer illustrates how actively Premier League clubs are seeking new talents, especially under conditions of injuries to key players. We will keep an eye on further developments in this story and potential deals that may change the landscape in the league.
