The central defender of the Ukrainian national football team Ilya Zabarnyi is joining the French 'PSG'. The saga of the transfer of the leader of the 'Bournemouth' defense has come to an end.
Renowned insider Fabrizio Romano clarified that a verbal agreement has already been reached between the Parisians and the English club.
The transfer fee will amount to 67 million euros. 'PSG' will sign a five-year contract with the 22-year-old footballer, and the transfer may be finalized before the UEFA Super Cup match against 'Tottenham', which will take place on August 13.

Romano announced the deal with the phrase 'Here we go!' — this is his signature phrase which he uses to confirm the final stage of a transfer. A medical exam and the signing of all documents are expected in the coming days.
Ilya joined 'Bournemouth' in January 2023 from Kyiv's 'Dynamo' for 22.7 million euros. In the 2024/25 season, he played 39 matches in the EPL and recorded one assist. The contract with the English club was valid until 2029, and Transfermarkt valued the player at 42 million.
