A United Airlines flight flying from Los Angeles to Shanghai was forced to turn back due to one of the pilots forgetting his passport.
There were 257 passengers and 13 crew members on board. The plane returned after two hours of flight and headed to San Francisco.
Representatives of the airline reported that passengers were given vouchers for food and compensation. A new crew was also provided to take people to their destination.
The plane arrived in Shanghai about six hours late.
It's also worth mentioning that last July, during the takeoff of a United Airlines Boeing 757 from Los Angeles airport, a wheel came off.
Additionally, United Airlines has started charging extra fees for small wheeled suitcases that passengers bring on board as carry-on luggage.
