The man was arrested for organizing an illegal border crossing scheme, having promised a Ukrainian citizen passage to Moldova via the Transnistrian border segment for a fee of $9,600. The suspect has been formally notified of suspicion under Article 332 of Ukraine's Criminal Code, which covers the illegal transportation of persons across the state border. A court has ordered him to be held in custody, with bail set at over 499,000 hryvnias.
