According to inkorr.com: The Ukrainian women's U-21 team lost to Hungary with a score of 16:21 in their second group stage match of the sixth round of the 3x3 basketball Nations League. After a victory over Qatar, the Ukrainian athletes could not show a better result than the Hungarian team, which made a breakthrough at the end of the game. The highest number of points (6 each) in this match was scored by Bohdana Laphan and Karina Panchuk.
Currently, the Ukrainian team is in fourth place in the overall standings of the 3x3 basketball Nations League and holds the same position in the conference after the conclusion of the sixth stage of the competition.
Successes at the European Youth Olympic Festival
Ukraine showed impressive results at the European Youth Olympic Festival, taking 10th place in the overall medal standings. The Ukrainian team won 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals. This is already the second most successful performance by Ukraine at this festival, as well as a record number of medals for our country. The largest number of medals was obtained by Ukrainian athletes in 2019 - then there were 25 medals in total.
The most successful sports at the festival were judo, swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, artistic gymnastics, and table tennis.
These results highlight the growing level of Ukrainian sports on the international stage, particularly in youth basketball and at Olympic festivals. Despite the defeat to the Hungarian team, the Ukrainian athletes continue to compete at a high level in the Nations League.
