Venues of the World Championships
The Ukrainian national hockey teams learned about the venues of the World Championships. Division 1A will take place in Polish Sosnowiec from May 2 to 8, 2026. Ukrainian hockey players will compete against teams from France, Kazakhstan, Japan, Poland, and Lithuania. The women's national team will travel to Hong Kong, where they will compete against teams from New Zealand, Belgium, Mexico, Lithuania, and the hosts. In the junior Division 1A in Slovenia, our hockey players will face teams from Austria, Norway, Slovenia, France, and Kazakhstan. Meanwhile, the youth national team will play in Polish Krynica-Zdrój against Switzerland, Kazakhstan, Slovenia, Hungary, and Poland.

Liza Brown-Millerpassed away. She was part of the U.S. team that won the first historic Olympic gold. Moreover, she won silver four times at the World Championships and made her mark in matches for the American national team.
