The men's team of Ukraine became the best among biathletes of the week according to the voting results on the official IBU resources. They shared the victory with Norway's Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold, who underwent heart surgery in December. The Ukrainians won bronze at the World Cup in Nove Mesto, marking their first achievement at these competitions during the last three seasons.

The Ukrainian team consisting of Artem Tishchenko, Vitalii Mandzyn, Anton Dudchenko, and Dmytro Pidruchnyi delivered an impressive performance in the relay. They started the competition in ninth place, but thanks to a high level of skills and the use of additional cartridges, they were able to secure third place. This was an important victory for Ukraine, which had not won medals at the World Cups in the last three seasons.
