Zelensky named the number of captured Russians in Kursk.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine captured more than 600 Russians during an operation in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with NBC News.
We show that any of their territory (RF, - ed.) is not safe. If they brought war to us, we will bring the war to their territory. We also took an exchange fund, the military are important to us. None of their civilians were touched. We are not marauders and not killers, like the Russians who came to us and killed civilians and took prisoners, mocked
According to Zelensky, among the captives are Kadyrov's officers and militants.
We will exchange all of them for our guys. This is also one of the goals of this operation. It justifies itself
The President stated that the military operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region was a preventive strike aimed at restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Oleksandr Syrskyi, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that the defense forces of Ukraine in certain directions took control of 5 square kilometers of territories, while in the rest of the directions the situation remains difficult but controlled.
