President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Russian military suffered significant losses during the invasion of Ukraine.

According to Zelensky, Russia has lost 650,000 people killed and wounded at the front. He noted that many mobilized Russian soldiers became victims of their own fear of death or injury.

"It's difficult to fight with Russia, where the only law is - if they don't move forward, they are shot by their own people. Russia has killed many of its own soldiers due to fear of death or injury. They don't count the numbers, but about 650,000 have already died or been wounded," Zelensky stated.

In addition, the president noted that the Russian military do not retrieve the bodies of their soldiers.

"Their people decompose on the ground, they don't take their dead. This is the face of Putin and this war. They use their corpses to continue fighting against us. These are their methods," Zelensky said.

According to the report, when Ukrainian military reached the Kursk region and struck Russian territory, the Russians began killing civilians who remained in their homes.

"Our military shares food and water with them, as they are civilians, not military. We see the bodies of Russian civilians affected by the shelling. This is the way we conduct war," the head of state added.

Let us recall, Zelensky announced the continuation of martial law and mobilization in Ukraine.
