Zelensky discussed cooperation prospects with the President of Paraguay.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with President of Paraguay Santiago Peña in New York.
Zelensky expressed gratitude to Paraguay for its support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The President also spoke about the situation on the battlefield and the results of the first Peace Summit.
"You couldn't come to our first, inaugural Summit, but the Joint Communique is open for signing. You know that 11 Latin American countries joined the inaugural Summit, and of course, we very much want Paraguay to also join the communique," said the President of Ukraine.
During the meeting, regional and global security challenges, prospects for trade and economic cooperation, and the exchange of experiences in mining and agriculture were discussed. Teams of both presidents were instructed to explore the most promising areas for cooperation.
