President Volodymyr Zelensky reported important results of the meeting of the Staff and the meeting with the commanders of the drone units in his evening address on February 7.

According to the President, the Ministry of Defense and the military are accelerating the pace not only of signing but also of implementing contracts for arms supply. Special attention is being paid to increasing the share of domestic production of armaments.

'Supply to the army must be stable, and the share of our own production must continuously increase,' Zelensky emphasized.

The Commander-in-Chief reported on the situation in Donetsk and Kursk. New assaults took place in the areas of the Kursk operation, where the Russian army involved North Korean troops. 'A significant number of occupants have been destroyed, referring to hundreds of Russian and North Korean military personnel,' the President noted.

In Kursk, 60 thousand Russian troops are concentrated, who, according to the head of state, were unable to strengthen the occupying forces in Pokrovsk and other directions in Donetsk.

The President paid special attention to the development of drone systems. 'Drones are the technological basis of modern warfare. Ukrainians must be a leader in this field,' Zelensky emphasized. He reported on the adoption of decisions regarding the production and supply of drones, stressing that the state will not spare resources for this, as it ensures the preservation of the lives of Ukrainians.
