The President of Ukraine urgently convenes an NSDC meeting due to scandal over fake disabilities

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, urgently convenes a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) amidst a scandal over fake disabilities. The head of state announced this on his Telegram channel.

According to the President, Ukraine has received substantial support from international partners regarding the implementation of the Victory Plan. In particular, he thanked France, Lithuania, the Nordic countries, and other allies in the European Union. Zelensky also noted positive signals from the USA and the expectation of the arrival of an American delegation to discuss the details of the Victory Plan.

However, amid these positive developments, the President expressed concern about the situation within the country. He highlighted issues related to the activities of medical-social expert commissions (MSEC) and cases of abuse by some prosecutors who arranged fake disabilities for themselves.

Zelensky stated that he expects swift and decisive actions from law enforcement agencies, including the SBU, DBR, and the Office of the Prosecutor General, regarding the investigation of these cases.

In this regard, he decided to convene a meeting of the NSDC to discuss the situation and take the necessary measures.
