The Ukrainian maritime corridor has reached a historic milestone of 100 million tons of cargo transported in a year and a half of operation, despite constant Russian attacks on the ports.

This was reported by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, on social media on February 7.

According to the head of state, export shipments through the corridor covered 53 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, and America. Zelensky emphasized that the results of the corridor's operation are significant not only for Ukraine but also for the countries that consume Ukrainian agricultural products.

'Ukraine, defending itself in this war, cares about global food security thanks to the operation of the maritime corridor. Because the resilience of our maritime industry is not only about the economy, it is also about the protection of humanity,' emphasized the president.

He also thanked the Ukrainian military who ensured the return of free navigation and expelled the Russian naval fleet.

As a reminder, Zelensky outlined the conditions for negotiations with Putin and commented on Trump's plan to end the war.
