Stars refuse to perform at Quarter 95 concert due to corruption scandal

According to inkorr.com: Recently, it became known that several well-known artists decided not to participate in the New Year's concert of the 'Quarter 95' studio, scheduled for December 6-7. This decision was a result of a scandal involving one of the studio's owners, Timur Mindich, who has become embroiled in corruption schemes at 'Energoatom'. Among the artists who refused to perform are KOLA, the 'Homin' choir, and Nadia Dorofeeva.

The artists' responses appeared on social media. For example, singer KOLA announced on her Instagram that she would not perform at the concert, and representatives of the 'Homin' choir and Nadia Dorofeeva also confirmed their refusals.

The administration of the 'Quarter 95' studio assured that the concerts would take place despite the absence of the mentioned artists. They urged viewers to come and enjoy their humor and creativity, which, in their opinion, have no relation to the scandal surrounding their shareholder.

Timur Mindich has found himself at the center of an investigation by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, concerning criminal activities at 'Energoatom'. He has been suspected of colluding with contractors to obtain kickbacks. In this regard, the head of the National Palace of Arts 'Ukraine' spoke in support of the artists of the 'Quarter 95' studio and emphasized their charitable activities in wartime Ukraine.

This situation illustrates how corruption scandals can impact the cultural sphere. The artists' refusal to participate in the concert has become not only a matter of their personal stance but also a testimony to a broader discussion on ethics and responsibility in the world of show business. It is interesting to see how this situation will affect the future plans of the studio and the artists, and whether they will be able to find a way to rebuild the audience's trust.
