The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated the Russian karate champion.
The karateka Volodymyr Petrenko, who held a military rank and was a brown belt holder in Kyokushin karate, was successfully eliminated. He was a well-known athlete, a deserving winner and prize-winner of competitions in Russia, a champion of the Volga Federal District, as well as a prize-winner at the European Karate Championship. He was eliminated on February 16, 2025.
A 19-year-old footballer Roman Markov, who was born in Kerch, was also eliminated. He started playing football at the age of 5 and had many achievements in this field. His death became known in January 2025, but the exact circumstances and place of death remain unknown. In addition, Oleksandr Rudyi, an experienced karateka with a number of sports achievements, was eliminated.
