AFU and TNMK band members presented a song for the Day of Defenders and Defenders.
For the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, the Main Directorate of Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and members of the band "Tanok na maydani Kongo" (TNMK) Oleg Mykhailyuta (Fahot) and Oleksandr Sydorenko (Fozzi) presented the song "Pixel Defends its Own" and a video clip for it.
The track tells the younger generation about the adventures of the superhero Pixel, who is a symbol of Ukrainian defenders.
The song was written by Fahot and Fozzi, members of the band "Tanok na Maydani Kongo." The presentation is timed to the Day of Defenders, when educators and parents tell the younger generation about the modern Russian-Ukrainian war, honoring the heroes of Ukraine. The project is initiated by the Main Directorate of Communications of the AFU.
According to the plot of the animated video clip for the song "Pixel Defends Its Own," during a history lesson, a girl draws her dad-defender. The alarm begins, and she descends to the shelter. At the moment of danger, Pixel appears - a hero ready to fight for every Ukrainian. Together with him, prominent Ukrainians of previous eras, symbols of national resistance, and even letters of the Ukrainian alphabet stand to defend.
This is the second video about Pixel's adventures - the first was released on February 24, 2024, and garnered more than a million views.
On October 1, Ukrainians celebrate the Day of Defenders, which is an opportunity to honor the warriors who protect the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine. On this day, they remember not only the heroes of today but also the veterans of World War II and our ancestors, the Cossacks, who fought for independence.
